Bio
My name is Savior Allen-Knight, a painter originally from Chicago, IL. I went to school to study philosophy and education to someday become an educator in higher education. I hope to use this platform to converse with young minds and help them achieve their most authentic career goals through a student-centered teaching model. Outside of my careers, I enjoy being outside, cooking, running, reading, and conversing with new people


Artist Statement

 In my practice, I strive to present illustrations of candid or abstracted moments against a philosophic interpretation. Recently my works attempt to center color and shape but maintaining the quality to paint to tell these short narratives from a relatale perspective. I use these tools to give form to some existential topics as figures, scenes or fields of color. Common themes include authenticity, introspection, black history, and the act of creating.
