NE SCULPTURE I Gallery Factory (NES) is an equal opportunity employer and complies with all applicable federal, state, and local fair employment practices laws. NES welcomes participants (including artists, the Board of Directors, the Steering Committee, and volunteers) and community members with disabilities. NES strictly prohibits and does not tolerate discrimination against employees, applicants, or any other covered persons because of race, color, religion, creed, national origin or ancestry, ethnicity, sex (including pregnancy), sexual orientation, gender (includes gender nonconformity and status as a transgender or transsexual individual), age, physical or mental disability, citizenship, past, current, or prospective service in the uniformed services, genetic information, marital status, status concerning public assistance, membership or activity in a local commission, familial status, or any other characteristic protected under applicable federal, state, or local law.  All NES employees, other workers, and representatives are prohibited from engaging in, encouraging, and aiding in unlawful discrimination.  This policy applies to all terms and conditions of employment, including, but not limited to, hiring training, promotion, discipline, compensation, benefits, and termination of employment.

NES Board of Directors addresses ongoing accessibility issues for NES Community Members and guests to attend gallery exhibitions, workshops, and events. NES is committed to ensuring that its members with motor disabilities or difficulty standing for lengths of time are accommodated. Chairs are available in various heights for those who cannot stand for some or all of a volunteer schedule. In Addition, NES facilities (gallery, studio spaces & restroom) are fully accessible.

NES complies with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), as amended by the ADA Amendments Act, the Minnesota Human Rights Act, and all applicable state or local laws.  Consistent with those requirements, NES will reasonably accommodate qualified individuals with a disability if such accommodation would allow the individual to perform the essential functions of the job unless doing so would create an undue hardship.  If you believe you need an accommodation, refer any such request to the CEO & Artistic Director.  NES will also, where appropriate, provide reasonable accommodations for an employee’s religious beliefs or practices.

NES is committed to reviewing its ADA Plan annually or more often as needed to update and assess our compliance.
