William Lanzillo, Jill Stauffer, and Jamie Weinfurter
The trio have all completed residencies with NE Sculpture through 2020-2021 AND are now off to graduate programs and residencies throughout the US this fall!

William Lanzillo was born in Chicago. William received his BA from Carleton College in Northfield, Minnesota in 2019. William majored in Studio Art and Psychology with a minor in Africana Studies. William is both a sculptor and a printmaker. William’s work focuses on how the two disciplines can be combined and respond to one another. This coming fall William will be attending Cranbrook Academy of Art to pursue an MFA in sculpture.

Jill Stauffer is an interdisciplinary artist from Pembroke Pines, FL and is currently based in Wakefield, RI. In 2019, Jill received a BA from Middlebury College in Middlebury, VT, with majors in Studio Art and Architectural Studies. Jill recently completed an Artist Intern Fellowship with NE Sculpture and looks forward to internships with Josephine Sculpture Park this summer and Snow Farm, The New England Craft Program this fall. Jill creates interactive installations inspired by the coastal ecosystems and sacred spaces that Jill grew up with. In addition to Jill’s personal practice, Jill is passionate about arts access and has worked with community art and design nonprofits in Wakefield, RI, Baltimore, MD, and Providence, RI.

Jamie Weinfurter was born and raised in Stevens Point, Wisconsin. Jamie earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point with an emphasis in 3D in 2018. Since graduating, Jamie has participated in numerous group shows in Minnesota, Illinois, Indiana, and Wisconsin; had sculptures publicly exhibited in Illinois, Kentucky, and Minnesota; and has created outdoor sculpture at Josephine Sculpture Park, Sculpture Trails Outdoor Museum, and Franconia Sculpture Park. Jamie completed a continuation of her internship at Josephine Sculpture Park in fall of 2020, and installed public sculpture in Lafayette, CO and Mankato, Bemidji, and Rochester, Minnesota. Jamie completed an artist fellowship at NE SCULPTURE | Gallery Factory in the summer of 2020, which has progressed to a Program Assistant position in 2021. Jamie will also install public sculpture in Rochester, Bemidji, Delano, and Hutchinson, Minnesota in 2021. This coming fall, Jamie will begin her candidacy in the MA/MFA program at the University of Iowa for Sculpture.
