Bio

Kimberly Wetzel is a multimedia artist creating abstract works on canvas and paper, currently based in St. Paul, Minnesota. She graduated from the Minneapolis College of Art and Design with a BFA in Painting/Drawing in 2017. Since 2022, she has participated in several residency programs nationally and has exhibited work in group shows throughout the state of Minnesota.

Artist Statement

The main theme throughout her work is the solace nature provides to an overstimulated mind. She pulls from nature’s contrasting elements of tranquility and disruption to inform the work she makes.
