OPENING RECEPTION:

Joshua Navis, Sarah Niksa, and Phoenix Muchowski present the group exhibition 'Title.' Join NE Sculpture in celebrating the culmination of their 2021 Summer Intern Artists Fellowships!!!

Friday, August 19th from 7:00-9:00pm at the Gallery Factory with music curated by Philippe Gallandat, and a Make+Take metal pouring workshop with the WOW Mobile Metal Lab.

About the Intern Artists:

Josh Navis

Life and death, beautiful chaos and ugly order, finding direction in this puzzling life, and seeking a connection in a disconnected world; my name is Joshua Navis. I’m a transcendental decorator of space and time (interdisciplinary artist) from Temecula California, currently in my fourth year of the BFA program at university of Alberta.

Sarah Niksa

Sarah Niksa is an interdisciplinary artist originally from Crystal Lake, Illinois. She received her BFA with an emphasis in 2D art from University of Wisconsin - Stevens Point in 2019. Her work focuses on abstraction and explores the complex relationship between life experiences and emotional states.

Phoenix Muchowski

Phoenix Muchowski is an interdisciplinary artists living and working in St. Paul, MN. They are currently working towards a BA in Studio Arts at Hamline University.

Phoenix is currently going to school for studio arts. The main types of art Phoenix does are painting and sculpture. The main material Phoenix uses for their art is basically anything they can find for sculpture and watercolor and acrylics for painting.
