NE Sculpture was created by artists, for artists. NE Sculpture serves artists in the following ways:
Shows at NE Sculpture | Gallery Factory: Monthly gallery shows contain works of a wide range of media from local, national, and international artists and curators.
Sculpture siting:NE Sculpture | Gallery Factory creates and coordinates sculpture projects throughout Northeast Minneapolis, acting as a medium between individual artists and sites ranging from housing developments, the City of Minneapolis, and sculpture parks. In 2019, our major project in this area was with the Hook & Ladder Housing development, as well as with several individual sculpture sitings.
Resident Artist Intern Program: Supports emerging artists in creating new artistic work while assisting in the workings of a non-profit arts organization.
Studio Space: Rents out four affordable studio spaces to local artists in Northeast Minneapolis. Supports those artists via opportunities to show in the Gallery and connections to sculpture siting placements and commissions.
